Some of my readers know that I have been playing this wonderful instrument since I was a little girl. I started with classical guitar but the electric guitar was always lurking in the background (my parents weren't that enthousiastic about that in the beginning, afraid that I would blow up the house with the amplifier I guess :D I think they made the right decision to let me wait a few years before I got an electric guitar ;) ) , so eventually (after many many years of classical lessons) I switched to the amplified kind.Elvis Presley, John Williams, BB King, David Gilmour and so on talk about their passion for the guitar.

Saw the BBC broadcast. Already sitting in front of the tele waiting for the next episode :-) Worth mentioning from the first episode too are George Gruhn's guitarshop and Wayne Henderson master guitar builder.
Sounds interesting. I wonder if they'll air it here in India. I've always wanted to learn the guitar but never found the means to do it. Oh well.
